elpa-paredit software package provides Emacs minor mode for structurally editing Lisp code, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install elpa-paredit
elpa-paredit is installed in your system.
Make ensure the elpa-paredit package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep elpa-paredit *
You will get with elpa-paredit package name, version, architecture and description in a table
